This is all well plus good, except when you get to school plus reality hits you. Suddenly, everyone is a lot more concerned about the practicality of your future career. All of a sudden, there are limitations to what you can be. My mom still always encouraged me to follow my heart in my career, even though I have to say that my fiance is a lot more logical than that. She has been insistent that I obtain my central heating plus cooling licensure for a few years now. When my buddy and I first met, she always talked about how much she enjoyed indoor air temperature control. She dropped a lot of hints about the importance of advanced air purification plus air quality control devices in her home. Then, she started getting pushier about the Heating, Ventilation and A/C industry. She started leaving me pamphlets for Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional certification at the local trade school. She started bringing up my current career in the air quality industry at family dinners, basically, she left me no option but to become an indoor air quality control specialist.
