Mom said follow your heart, wife says become an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech

Does anybody else feel like childhood education is a bit of a joke? When you’re growing up all of the cable shows and films tell you that you can become anything you want to when you’re an adult. They Harold your option to become the president’s, an astronaut, a famous artist, or anything you could imagine. The public school system is exactly the same. For years, instructors and aides have been telling youngsters that they can become anything on Earth if they put their hearts and minds to it. This is all well and good, except when you get to school and reality hits you. Suddenly, all the people is a lot more distraught about the practicality of your future job. All of a sudden, there are limitations to what you can be, but my mom still always encouraged me to follow my heart in my job, however I have to say that my wife is a lot more logical than that. She has been insistent that I obtain my central heating and cooling licensure for a few years now. When my friend and I first met, she always talked about how much she enjoyed indoor air temperature control. She dropped a lot of hints about the importance of advanced air purification and air quality control devices in her home. Then, she started getting pushier about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C industry. She started leaving me pamphlets for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional certification at the local trade school. She started bringing up my new job in the air quality industry at family suppers… Basically, she left me no choice but to become an indoor air quality control specialist. While mom always said I could do whatever I wanted, the truth is I have to do what my wife wants.
