Never realized how loud these birds were without A/C to disturb them

Earlier this year I moved into a new home, and I could not be happier with the decision that I made, in hindsight. For a while I was looking to purchase my own house, but it seemed impossible to put in an offer and get a passable response from the selling realtor. Eventually, I gave up and signed on for a year-long lease in a rental house. Now I could not be happier with this decision. I am not sure that I wanted to stay in this area, and I don’t need to be tied down by a dwelling purchase. There are few things about this region that I am still not in adore with. As much as I adore the mild and easy Winters around here, the summers are entirely brutal. I am grateful that I can get through the winter time without having to kill my central heating system, however I worry a lot about the Summer times and operating my immense air conditioning unit. Because the outdoor weather conditions here is warm and humid for at least eight months out of the year, people rely heavily on their indoor cooling systems. If you don’t have a powerful air conditioning unit, it can be dangerous to live in this environment. That’s why I have obviously been using my air conditioning unit rather heavily the whole time I’ve lived here. A few days ago my A/C unit broke down out of the yellow. In the absence of my continually running cooling system, I realized something new… I also dislike the birds that live in this area. Without my A/C condenser to disturb them away, a dozen screeching critters jarred me awake first thing in the afternoon. The sounds were tremendous. I think there is another reason for always running your A/C around here, obnoxious wildlife.
