With sickness on everybody’s brains right now, it’s no wonder that all of the stores are sold out of cold and flu medicine.
Everybody thinks that they are sick on a biweekly basis.
Every woman in my life has confessed to me that they thought they had a sore throat, a cough, or a fever at some point or another in the last week. I do not feel anyone has actually been sick, just incredibly paranoid and worried about their health. With everybody paying so much attention to their bodily condition, it’s the perfect time for hypochondria to rear its ugly head. That’s why, I almost confessed myself to the hospital last yearfor no great reason. I had been sitting around the house, trying to keep myself occupied when I realized that I was feeling quite uncomfortable. As I learn news stories and texted my loved ones and distant sites, I noticed that my hands and feet were feeling easily cold. It was like I was sitting in an ice cold patch of air. I put another blanket on, and waited to warm up. Within an hour, I was burning up and perspiring through my shirt. Now, I was starting to get distraught about what was going on with my internal temperature control… Clearly, something was going wrong and my temperature was not being regulated properly. With these uneven overheated and cold uneven temperatures, I started to panic. I stuck a thermometer in my mouth and checked it incessantly every 5 minutes. When my wife got condo from labor that afternoon, I told him sadly that my great friend and I were both infected. She looked at me with confusion, and then asked if I realized that the heating plan wasn’t working. Within 2 minutes of being condo with a clear head, she had effectively serviced my fluctuating temperature problem. Our central furnace was not working properly.
